The house with its huge garden area is a green oasis in the center of the trendy quarter Jawalakhel, Lalitpur! The perfect place to step back and relax after a day in the vibrant city.
We provide a large garden area of more than 1'200 m² with a cosy terrace, a playground and a vegetable garden.

This season is construction season! The result?
Two modernized bathrooms and a brand-new kitchen with store room will be installed. That gives the opportunity to provide a better range of food or even cooking lessons.

OUR STORY
Traditional Nepalese Construction
Back in 1981, after living and working for many years in Nepal as a Swiss architect, I've constructed this beautiful house for my young family and especially for my Nepalese wife Mana!
Based on the Newari construction method we've mainly used natural materials such as bricks, stones and wood to build this traditional house in a then quiet and rural area outside Kathmandu. The more the city grew around it and the traditional houses disappeared, the more Mana Niwas became a hidden gem - a green oasis in this vibrant city!
